Many thanks to the company BRAND LLC, in particular, to Vadim Solynin for their confidence in testing the BRAND 37501 multicooker.
Thanks to the employees of the company Elena, Irina and Yana for the sincere warm welcome and the issuance of the multicooker.
Outwardly, I liked the multicooker very much. The bowl, at first glance, is of high quality and impressive. That's all for now. I'm starting to master the multicooker.

Girls please pay attention to the closure of the lid. Close tight? With a gap? Look at new and after a few cooks. Many multi "suffer" from this flaw. In particular, my Marusya 47. I even changed her because of this. But all the same, the gap appeared and not frail. There is a different-looking lid design, maybe there won't be such a problem?

Quote: Vichka

The lid closes tightly. No obvious gaps are visible.

The DEX 50 and Brand 37501 bowls are different. In Brand, the bowl is 5 liters, but the DEX bowl fits in Brand and the lid was able to close. I think that the bowl did not reach the bottom of the case, in a radius several ml wider than the Brand bowl.Testing multicooker Brand 37501Testing multicooker Brand 37501Testing multicooker Brand 37501

And what is the cover in the bowl? Looks different from DEX. I sit and think which one to buy. there is an opportunity to bring from Russia or buy from us in Ukraine.
It differs from DEX 60 in bowls. DEX 50 and 60 have the same bowl, 4 liters. Brand has 5 liters.

Answers to frequently asked questions

About discontinuation
The Brand 37501 model was discontinued due to the fact that the POVOS factory under pressure from the PHILIPS company (which bought this factory) suspended its cooperation with Brand. In March 2013, the last batch of Brand 37501 multicooker was released. However, in the summer of 2013 there will be a large supply of accessories for the Brand 37501 multicooker... Brand does NOT exclude warranty and service obligations and will provide warranty and post-warranty service for Brand 37501 multicooker.
About the "runningness" of milk porridge
Causes... There are cereals (more often crushed this way), which foams. This can be seen even when rinsing it (the water starts to foam slightly when you pour in such a crumble). This is the kind of cereal that provokes "escape". And milk, it would seem still fresh, but not very much, also "runs". Or milk with additives ...
A smaller volume (for example, from 0.5 mst of cereals and less) of milk porridge is more likely to escape due to the greater risk of overheating the milk when it boils.
What to do... To prevent the "running" grits from foaming, you need to thoroughly rinse them to clear water, and then you can pour boiling water over it.
To prevent milk from souring when cooking milk porridge with a delay for the morning, you can use milk from a freezer with ice chips.
About water temperature
In order for the water in the bowl to boil faster (for example, when cooking soup), it is better to pour hot water.
For the preservation of the non-stick coating (so that it does not crack from temperature shock), it is important that the water temperature is close to the temperature of the bowl. It is better to pour only hot water into a hot bowl. And in the chilled one - only cold.
About valve
The position of the rotary valve part does NOT affect the multicooker operation.
In order to remove and flush the valve (its rotary part), it must be turned to the position with the open lock and removed. The valve can be completely removed by prying it from the side of the recess and pulling on it with little effort. After flushing it, reinstall the valve. Turn the rotary part clockwise away from the open lock (if this is not done, it will fall out when the lid is opened).

About rice
Milk porridge cook better from round rice. For thick porridge, the ratio is 1: 3 or 1: 4. For liquid porridge - 1: 5 or 1: 6. More often they use 1 liter of milk for 1mst of round rice.
Garnish... If from round rice cook the side dish, then the proportions of rice: water - 1: 1.5. If round rice with vegetables, then the proportions of rice: water - 1: 11/4.
If you cook a side dish or pilaf from long rice, then the proportions of rice: water - 1: 2 (with an abundance of juicy vegetables - 1: 13/4).
If you cook pilaf from long parboiled rice, then the proportions of rice: water - 1: 2.5 or 1: 3.

About baking

Maybe it will be useful ... In a multicooker, the liquid evaporates much less than in the oven, so the dough will be a little thicker than usual for the oven for a long time so that it can be baked as a result and is not sticky or even plasticine.

I also had such a story during testing with a chocolate biscuit.
Testing multicooker Brand 37501
I then decided that I didn't bake much. There was no experience yet of baking in a multicooker, and then there was not enough flour in the dough.

By the way, here is the same biscuit, and if you look closely, you can see that at the very bottom there is a thin plasticine layer
Testing multicooker Brand 37501

In general, now I practically do not bake in multicooker, I like baking from a pressure cooker more. It turns out to be even, it is very good for cakes.

Something too long, he heats water to a boil ...
I remember correctly that the countdown in the "Steam" program begins with the moment the water boils?
Luysia
DenRassk, correct, but the boiling time depends on the amount of water. I think Victoria poured more than one cartoon glass of cold water and not two, but specifically (to rinse the saucepan).
mamba
Is it possible to participate?
In the high-water mode, the condensate, of course, does not have time to evaporate from the lid, but it drains remarkably when opened into a special recess in the body around the bowl, without breaking off into the bowl at all. At least I haven't noticed this yet. And on baking it will not be so much.
In the extinguishing mode, the lid is only slightly warm, which pleases.
I have already fried the onion for 5 minutes with the lid closed on the Frying mode. The onion is not burnt, everything is fine.
Yes, I just noticed: the steam insert on legs has charming soft "hooves": the coating will never scratch.

Yes, Lyudmila is right, she poured water along the upper division, especially cold. For 1.5 minutes, the start of the countdown, I opened the lid and the water was already boiling. It boiled almost all the time the same, and only 3 minutes before the program was turned off, the boiling began to vigorously stop.
